GRAVEDIGGER is a hard-hitting crime comic written by CHRISTOPHER MILLS and illustrated by Eisner Award-winning BATMAN ADVENTURES artist RICK BURCHETT.

Inspired by the classic crime novels and films of the Fifties, SIxties and Seventies – and authors such as Richard Stark, Dan J. Marlowe, John Trinian, Lawrence Block, and Max Allan Collins – GRAVEDIGGER chronicles the lawless life of professional criminal "Digger" McCrae, a ruthless, hardboiled felon.

Originally appearing solely as an online comic, I'm currently working on bringing the character to print comic books and graphic novels, beginning with the one-shot GRAVEDIGGER: THE SCAVENGERS, which was published in November 2004 by Washington-based Rorschach Entertainment.

THE SCAVENGERS one-shot will be but the opening salvo. I'm currently in talks with several publishers about producing a series of one-shots and three-to-four-issue story arcs, beginning with GRAVEDIGGER: DANGEROUS PREY and GRAVEDIGGER: SPOIL THE CHILD, coming soon.

GRAVEDIGGER is "Digger" McCrae, a professional thief. Hard, brutal and ruthless – with a weakness for hot women and cold cash – McCrae is the consumate criminal. Whether it's an armored car hijacking, bank robbery, art heist or a kidnapping, you can depend on "Digger" to handle every obstacle and double-cross with professional cool and a complete lack of conscience.

That "Gravedigger" nickname? Well – don't ever call him that to his face, or you'll find out where that monicker came from... the hard way.
